Another of the Kids Quilts done

This is one of the quilts for the kids I got done before Christmas.  I still have several to go, but this makes about a dozen so far.

Haven't Posted For A While

I haven't posted in a while.  Right after Christmas I got pretty sick and just started coming out of it last week.  This is a patchy quilt I worked on today.  I really am happy with it.  I just love all the colors the show up here and there.  It's been fun to do.  It's made with a Layer Cake.

Imagine my surprise when the package arrived from Susan and I was expecting some CQ Scraps, . It took me a couple of minutes of looking at it to realize she was my Secret Santa! lol  What a delightful array of goodies.  I keep going back to the box and looking at everything.  Thank you so much Susan I love every bit of it!

This is a quilt I worked on today. It was UFO days yesterday and today, so we have to work on unfinished projects.

Quilt for a Special Person

This is a quilt for a very special someone in my life.  I hope to have it completed by next week sometime.

Isn't this gorgeous!  It was a birthday present from a very dear friend and I've tried for several years now to figure out how to NOT lose the beauty of the fabric by making a quilt.  Well, I'm going to leave it as is, have some lovely enbelishment stitches put on it and then put the binding on. I think it will be just beautiful.



Samanthas Quilt Is Coming Along

Samantha's quilt is coming along.  She's had to come over after school or after La Crosse so that hasn't given her a lot of time to work on it.  She's only got about 45 minutes worth of work left to do on it, then it'll be time to make the binding and finish it up.  yaaaay  I can't post a picture because blogger isn't cooperating with me. bummers   I'll try again later.
